Back in May in Australia 2 prominent mainstream TV programs showcased that it was dead easy to make money on the Internet using the Easiest Home Business Ever (EHBE).

So keen to test it I signed up.

EHBE is a method of advertising that costs you loads of time and money. Firstly you have to pay a ridiculous fee monthly to get videos of information that is freely available on the internet or if you want the personal touch from any reputable business mentor.

Secondly, you have to give away something to get potential hits or sales to a product or service. They recommend you resell as an affiliate - duh, you don't need to pay $60 a month to learn how to do that as the affiliate companies supply all that information to you.

Their sales speil shows a young girl who says she has made $100 a day using their system???? Maybe, but that does not mean every Joe Blow will be able to do so - in fact she would be in the minority and I bet if you ask her how things are going since Freagle/EBHE has done a huge promo and had more advertising competitors sign up her sales would have dropped considerably and here is why.....

The majority of people who would have signed up would have signed up to get free stuff via Freagle. This means all these people what is free stuff. They don't what to buy a thing, zip, zilch from you or anybody else. All they do is hit your website to answer questions and then they often don't do that and just guess in the hope of getting points and by-pass our website totally.

That is how it works, these people wanting the freebies answer questionaires that require them to visit the advertisers website. This is where it begins and ends. They don't come back to buy from you they just want the points so they can get a freebie.

Now I don't have a problem with people wanting something for free. But, I have a problem with the people at Freagle leading the advertisers on saying they will get more advertising and more clients through this method.

The biggest flaw with the system is there is no back-linking to your business through the search engines as an advertiser. You rely wholly and solely on Freagle for your advertising. On the internet such a closed shop is bad economics when advertising and marketing.

Essentially The Easiest Home Business Ever (Freagle) is a total rip off for businesses - it makes poor marketing sense on the internet when there are so many options that are free and easy to use. Also it is well over priced.

You get stung in 2 ways, a monthly fee and the cost of your freebies. So, if you see and advertisement for The Easiest Home Business Ever (Freagle) - don't join as an advertiser. If you have loads of time to waste filling in questionnaires in the hope of getting a freebie just join to do that and go for the freebies.
